Soulwell ("we," "our," or "the App") is an AI-powered prayer journal designed to help Christians reflect on their faith, track prayers, and discover patterns of God's faithfulness over time. Your prayers are deeply personal, and we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our App.

2. Information We Collect

• Prayer Entries & Reflections: The App collects the prayers, reflections, and journal entries you write. This content is used to provide personalized AI insights, surface patterns, and connect relevant Scripture to your prayer life.
• Prayer Status: When you mark prayers as answered, the App stores this information to help you track God's faithfulness and review answered prayers over time.
• Account Info: We use Firebase Authentication to manage your account (Email/UID).
• Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data (features used, streak activity, session frequency) to improve the App experience. This data is not linked to your identity or prayer content.

3. How We Use Your Data

• AI-Powered Reflections: Your prayer entries and reflections are processed by AI to surface patterns, connect answered prayers to current struggles, and generate personalized reflections and insights tailored to your spiritual journey.
• Scripture Matching: Your prayer content is analyzed by AI to select relevant Bible verses that speak to the specific weight of what you wrote — not random verses, but contextually meaningful Scripture.
• Prayer Tracking: Your prayer history and answered prayer data are used to show you God's faithfulness over weeks and months — prayers you may have forgotten, answered in ways you never expected.
• No Selling of Data: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data, prayers, or journal entries with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your prayers are sacred to us.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Prayer Data: Your prayer entries, reflections, and answered prayer history are retained as long as your account is active so you can look back and see your faith journey over time.
• Account Deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data (including all prayer entries, reflections, and answered prayer records) at any time via the Settings menu in the App.

5. Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google): For database hosting and user authentication.
• RevenueCat: For managing your subscription. We do not store or see your credit card information.
• OpenAI: We use OpenAI's API to power AI reflections, pattern recognition, and Scripture matching. Your prayer entries and reflections are sent to OpenAI for processing. Per OpenAI's API data policy, data sent through their API is not used to train their AI models. For more details, see OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic (Claude AI): We use Anthropic's Claude AI service for generating prayer insights and long-term spiritual pattern analysis. Your prayer data may be sent to Anthropic for processing. 6. Children's Privacy

Soulwell is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
